Border Free Bees Symposium

The Border Free Bees Symposium took place from October 12 – 14, 2018 in Kelowna BC.

Local, nation­al and inter­na­tion­al col­lab­o­ra­tors, sup­port­ers and part­ners of Bor­der Free Bees gath­ered in Kelow­na to share expe­ri­ences and knowl­edge, to iden­ti­fy chal­lenges and to plan for the future. Par­tic­i­pants expe­ri­enced keynote talks and “Buzz Talks” by our col­lab­o­rat­ing artists and inter­na­tion­al part­ners, con­tributed to an inter­ac­tive map project, and brain­stormed about ways to cre­ative­ly help our pol­li­na­tors, espe­cial­ly native bees!
