Our collaboration with the Sun Valley Center for the Arts included the development of a temporary pollinator pasture with three apiary sculptures designed by Evan Hutchinson on the site of their future home in a new building. The pasture will have a 3‑year lifespan and then the apiary sculptures will move to their permanent location at the local elementary school which is also developing a pollinator garden.

The pasture is designed by Megan Smetzer and Cameron Cartiere to be an “earth quilt” of pollinator friendly flowers forming a living sampler anchored with the three apiary sculptures created specifically for the site.
